Boeing on Saturday 5 October handed over its 200th 737 MAX 8‑200, the high‑density 196 seat “Gamechanger” variant, to the Ryanair Group, completing a milestone in the Irish low‑cost carrier’s growth plan. The aircraft, registered EI‑ILK (msn 67137), flew non‑stop from Boeing Field (Seattle) to Dublin, arriving on runway 28L at 12:51 local.
The aircraft operated its first commercial service Sunday 5 October from Dublin to Paris Beauvais as RYR24.
Since the start of this calendar year, Boeing has delivered 28 new 737 MAX 8‑200s to the Ryanair Group: 21 to Ryanair DAC (Ireland) and 7 to Buzz (the Group’s Polish subsidiary). With this latest delivery, Ryanair DAC continues to dominate within the group, now operating a total of 136 MAX aircraft. Malta Air follows with 43, and Buzz operates 21 MAX 8‑200s.
The Ryanair Group anticipates 10 further MAX deliveries in its fiscal year 2026, which will round out its ambitious 210-aircraft order book. Notably, one of the upcoming aircraft, msn 67128 (G‑RYMA), is earmarked as the first MAX for Ryanair UK.
