ITA Airways has expanded its fleet with the arrival of its thirteenth Irish registered Airbus A220-300. The aircraft, registered EI-HHU (msn 55323), the aircraft routed directly from Montréal-Mirabel to Rome Fiumicino on 22 February 2025.
The A220-300 enhances the airline’s efficiency, offering a 25% reduction in fuel consumption and CO2 emissions per passenger compared to its predecessor.
Powered by Pratt & Whitney’s PurePower PW1500G engines, the aircraft is perfectly suited for ITA Airways domestic and European markets, with a range of up to 3,450 nautical miles (6,390 km).
