FedEx has launched a new four-day-a-week Boeing 767-300F service (FDX5050/1), effective 29 September2025, between Dublin, Ireland, and Indianapolis, Indiana. The new direct route will allow goods from Dublin to bypass congested coastal gateways and arrive at their destination one day faster. It also provides U.S. shippers with a strategic transatlantic link to Europe’s growing innovation centers for industries such as high-tech, healthcare, and transportation.
FedEx Europe Regional President Wouter Roels, said “Ireland is a vibrant export market, with around 68% of total goods exported in early 2025 going into the U.S. – with industries like pharmaceuticals and medical equipment leading the way. The addition of a direct flight between Dublin and Indianapolis marks a proud milestone for FedEx, connecting businesses across key industries with U.S. growth markets.”
The new route also provides U.S. shippers with a strategic transatlantic link to Europe’s growing innovation centers for industries such as high-tech, healthcare, and transportation.
The Indianapolis hub recently opened a 16,000-plus-square-foot cold-chain facility. The facility features three temperature zones: minus 25 C to minus 10 C (minus 13 F to 14 F), 2 C to 8 C (35 F to 46 F), and 15 C to 25 C (59 F to 77 F), plus a re-icing room.
