On Wednesday 17th September  Qatar Airways operated a one-time A7-AOB Airbus A350-1041 msn 423 on QTR17/8 arriving 1338 local and departing 1538 local on Doha Hamad International Airport to Dublin route , in lieu of Boeing 777-300(ER).

Qatar Airways is the type’s biggest operator, with 25 aircraft in service and another 17 on order, fitted with the airline’s multi award-winning Business Class seat, Qsuite operating on strategic long-haul routes to Africa, the Americas, Asia-Pacific and Europe.

Airbus delivered its 100th A350-1000 wide-body aircraft to Qatar Airways in August 2025, marking a significant milestone for the European manufacturer’s largest A350 variant seven years after the program launched. Qatar Airways served as the launch customer for the A350-1000, receiving the world’s first aircraft of this variant on February 16, 2018. That initial aircraft, registered A7-ANA, has accumulated 38,876 flight hours across 4,698 flight cycles.
