Dublin based SAS Connect has taken delivery of its 19th Airbus A320neo, registered EI-SIU Airbus A320-251N msn 11043 was delivered Toulouse to Copenhagen on Friday 10th November in 180 seat economy class layout powered by CFM LEAP-1A26 engines.

The carrier has three Airbus A320neo’s on order EI-SIR msn 10990, EI-SIV msn 11206 and EI-SIX msn 1168 according to Planespotters.net.

The carrier exclusively operates flights on behalf of SAS Scandinavia and is headquartered is in Swords Co Dublin, Ireland, with a crew base in London Heathrow (LHR) and this year set up new crew bases in both Copenhagen (CPH) and Stockholm Arlanda (ARN).

SAS new Airbus A320NEO reduces around 18% of the CO2 emissions compared to the Boeing 737-800 it replaces and it can deliver around 20% less fuel consumption per seat with the new engine and wing sharklets. This equals around 5,000 tons of fuel saved per aircraft and per year.
